Todays vegetarian dinner!

 


Im trying to do a chinese youtiao bread i saw as an instagram reel here togheter for todays dinner. I just did 3 glasses of flour (1 glass is 200ml), 1 egg, 1 tbs olive oil, 1/4 fresh yeast, pinch of salt and 1 glass of lukewarm water where i dissolved the yeast. Wish me luck its currently rolled up now haha.


As I am out of meat today its a vegetarian dish today. Its green lentil and pasta sallad topped with chickpeas.

Yeşil Mercimekli Nohutlu Salata recipe (green lentil chickpea salad):





Ingredients:


1 cup green lentils

1 small cup orzo

Parsley, yogurt, garlic, salt, and pepper

For the topping: chickpeas, onion, olive oil, pepper paste, water, and spices.


Instructions:


1. Boil lentils and orzo, then drain and cool.

2. Mix with parsley, garlic, yogurt, salt, and pepper.

3. Sauté onion in olive oil, add paste, chickpeas, and spices.

4. Add water, cook until absorbed.

5. Serve the yogurt salad with the chickpea mixture on top.
