Crafting Conflict: Navigating the War Council Scene
Hello everyone! Good afternoon!
How have you all been? I hope you’re all doing well. Yesterday, I dove back into my writing process, and I’m excited to share my progress with you!
I started with a war council scene, where tensions are high and decisions must be made. I wrapped up the chapter just as war broke out, and I’m pleased to say it has transformed into a more persuasive scene focused on war strategy. Here’s a teaser from the chapter:
Loulan’s Resolve
“With a more serious tone, Loulan continued, ‘I have a counteroffer to demonstrate our sincerity. I wouldn’t want you to worry. Please let me show you.’”
I’m really enjoying the direction it’s taking, and I’ve come up with some intriguing ideas for diplomatic weapons and symbolism that will add depth to the narrative.
As I continue to explore this theme, I’d love to hear from you! What are your favorite examples of diplomacy or symbolism in literature or history? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
Happy reading and writing!
